Kada se piše "terensko vozilo" to se čita kao Styer Puch i nikako drugačije. Jer to je specijalizovana fabrika terenaca koji su dokazani u svetu i niko im ne može prići. Pri tome ne mislim na Grand Cherokee čiju transmisiju proizvode i sastavljaju kompletan automobil niti na Land Rover Freelander ili Fiat Pandu za koju rade transmisiju. Ne mislim ni na Mercedes G klase koji samo ima mercedesov znak, luksuz i cenu, a sve ostalo je Styerovo.
Mislim na savršenstvo terenskih i samo terenskih automobila kao što su Halflinger (manji i stariji Pinz), Pinzgauer (4x4 i 6x6) i Puch džipove koji su toliko dobri da ih i snobovska Francuska proizvodi kao Peugeot P4.
Britanija je raspisala konkurs za novo osnovno terensko vozilo svoje vojske. I koliko god da su gordi Britanci navijali da Land Rover pobedi Styer je bio toliko bolji da su morali to priznati... Čak su i Ameri pri pravljenju svojih FMTV 4x4 i 6x6 vozila tražili Styerovu pomoć.
A Styer nije pravio samo terence. Pravio je i topolina :) Evo istorijata fabrike:

1957: Puch 500 car, based on the Fiat 500 but with 2-cylinder 500cc Puch engine. The car was rallied with success!
